Our mission
For Love Of Pets was founded with a mission to create quality products for pets while supporting the efforts of shelters, rescues and food pantries.
Kennel stress is a large factor in how adoptable pets behave and appear to potential adopters. Studies have shown that treats are a way to help minimize kennel stress. Treats give a little more interaction with a shelter pet, and they feel a little bit more secure.
Treats are often a luxury when money is tight for many families. We want to help out so people and their pets can both be happy.
How you help
There are three ways we accomplish this:
• When you purchase treats for your own pups, we will 'bank' the same amount of treats ounce for ounce to donate to a shelter, rescue or food pantry
• For each product purchased from a shelter, rescue or food pantry's Wish List, we will directly match that purchase to that shelter
• When you let us know you are sending a product to a shelter, rescue or food pantry directly from us, we will confirm and match it. We will also contact that entity to set up their own Wish List for the future.
